The third aftermarket kit goes on sale from 1st August 2006.  The Premium kit is designed for retro-fitting to 2001 – 2005 model year caravans.  Fitment must be carried out by a trained AL-KO Service Centre or Caravan Dealer, click here for your nearest trained outlet.  A new brake back plate must be fitted to your caravan, this will be pre-punched with the necessary fixing holes to allow fitment of the unique lock receiver.  Fitment of these parts are considered to be ‘safety critical’ and we urge you to ensure your chosen outlet has been trained by AL-KO on the fitting process.  Once the product has been fitted, your outlet must stamp the ‘fitment registration’ card.  This card should then be returned to AL-KO for inclusion on our registration database.

The AL-KO Secure Wheel Lock is currently the only product to be tested to the new Diamond Wheel Lock Standard. This standard insists on a minimum of 10 minutes dedicated attack test, which our lock far exceeded.  Do not confuse this standard with the normal Gold, Silver etc.  No other wheel lock conforms to the Diamond Standard.
