1. Load pressure brake:

The cable winches with load pressure brake must be operated within the minimum loads stated in the relevant product tables. If this minimum load is not achieved then the brake does not function.

2. Applications for load pressure braked-winches:

The braked cable winches have been tested by the employer‘s liability insurance assocation and therefore have the “GS-seal“. The GS-seal defnes a certain area of use.

The AL-KO cable winches can be used for diferent applications falling within the operating parameters. Winch life is dependent on load. To increase the life (time in hours) it is recommended to only use for medium sized loads. If necessary the next size winch model should be selected.

The specifed cables are designed in accordancewithDIN 15020 Part 1 (power group 1 Em).

4. Straps

Our straps are designed in accordance with the Machinery Directive 98/37/EC with seven times safety factor.
